INTRO

Telephone scam has been a menace to thousands of people every year, people fall victim to the scams and thereby lose their life savings. These scammers would say and do anything in order to get their victims, they could even go to the extent of getting personal or playing mind games with the victims in order to get them at a fixed point.

If you get a call from someone you don’t know and such person is asking for something you have no knowledge about or trying to persuade or pressure you into buying something you didn’t plan to buy, you can politely refuse the offer by saying “No thanks” but if they insist on getting personal information about you then it is probably a scam so what you do in that situation is hanging up the phone and report the situation to the Federal Trade Commission.
