347-756-6453

I came home to find a voicemail from telephone number 347-756-6453. The voice was an automated computer voice. The computer voice claimed to be from the US Treasury and said they would be sending a letter of seizure of assets. This telephone number comes back to a cell phone number in New York City. I called this number and it was no longer in service. Last I checked, the US Treasury was based in Washington DC, not New York. And I highly doubt agents would be using a throwaway cell phone as opposed to an office phone. Do not fall for this scam!

Left a voice mail claiming to be from the US Treasuery about a seizure of my property and they were sending agents to my house. The Caler ID said New York NY. First off the IRS handles seizures not the Deopartment of Treasurey. Reported to the proper authorities.

Further googling of this number brings up chinese characters. Go figure, Damn Chinks.
