A lady called me 3 hours ago from the same number and informed me that I have mislead the IRS with wrong information and there is an arrest warrant on hold for me. Then she started stating bullshit notifications numbers which have been sent to me claiming that I have recieved them and asked me about recent foreign transactions. When asking her how did she get my contact details her answer was we are IRS we have all your contact data although I have always declared a different phone number and address than what she mentioned and used to call me. Then she said she will mail me the notifications again on my address and once I get them I should call her back. 5 minutes later she calls me back warning me to answer any calls from IRS. She claims she will take care of me and a different agent might be in a bad mood so he can process the warrant. What a waist of time!!!!

BEWARE -- This is an IRS scam. DO NOT ANSWER THE CALL!!!

It could sound legit because he will give you a "case number" and say it is a three-way call with the Dept. of Homeland Security. Scary stuff!!!!!!!

The man also asked if I send money to foreign countries, or if I receive money from foreign countries. I told him I do not do that, and yet he persisted and even called me back when the phone connection was broken!! ARRGGH! He needs to get a real job!

This is a total scam! Today at 11:30 am, a man (NOT a gentleman!) called my cell phone and harassed me by falsely stating that there was an arrest warrant out for me and were three federal counts against me including the IRS and Homeland Security. I live a vanilla life, no debts, all taxes paid, no arrests, etc., so this was an absurdly strange call. He was rude and unprofessional. I refused to answer details about how I file my taxes. I asked for HIS number and organization, but he got defensive and cursed at me. I have blacklisted this number.
