this call came from a guy in wyoming who claimed to want to purchase something off craigslist. he called per my request so that i could verify if not a prank call but the phone was muffled and i hung up. he then texted to say that i had asked to call and proceed to tell me that he wanted to purchase an item from indiana even though he was in wyoming. it seemed very suspicious however went ahead to see if this was a scam. he said he would send a check and have some movers come to pick up the item. the check did in fact arrive but it was for 5 times the amount of the purchase. he asked me to deposit the check and immediately wire money to travis webb in jeffersonville indiana who is his movers accountant or personal assistant or whoever. i sent a text back and said that i would not do anything because this was a scam and was reported by several other people.
