Threaten for a fraud crime

Total scam, said they are from some law office or such, looked up the name, nothing, looked up the number, nothing. Didn't have my right information in the first place, but they gave me my supposed info anyway, said they were prosecuting for a payday loan, which I had never taken one out in the first place, and even if I had, they were threatening criminal prosecution, which is prohibited for them to do that, nor can they actually prosecute for payday loans. It's sad that they are using such tactics to scare and intimidate people. I suggest that everyone look up their rights under their own state laws before even talking to people like this.
