Called my unlisted number TWICE today (6:28 and 10:07am) with a recording claiming to be the IRS filing a lawsuit regarding unpaid taxes. Wish a police/FBI sting could be set up against these cheaters/scammers. Seems like it would be easy to catch these despicable crooks.

Funny commenters here. I sure hope no one falls for this fake IRS "gonna sue you" SCAM! Called me at 6 am and again 10:30 am. Too bad these guys never get caught.

The called first stating they was something wrong on my tax form from 1990, but after a while they switched it up to include 2009-2013. After informing them that Id need a letter to read over what the issue was with those years, they said they sent one in November, which I never did. After asking for their name and address of their so called office, he stated Washington DC, rather than state a physical address. Upon repeated requests for a physical address, he hung up

IRS SCAM. THEY HAVE ALL KINDS OF SPOOFED NUMBERS. IT IS A RECORDING TELLING YOU THE IRS HAS FILED A LAW SUIT ON YOU. YEA, LIKE THE IRS CALLS AT 6:00am. LOL I called them and pretended I was all worried and I would give them my credit card info to settle the debt. I told them to fax me the bill and I would pay straight away. He said, no! He then said he was sending the cops to arrest me if I didn't pay right away, but I started laughing. He go pissed and started cussing at me and was going to come to my house and kill everyone. LOL I guess he lost his cool. These idiots call nearly every day at 6, 8 and 10. Someone must be paying these people or they would come up with a new scam. Just make fun of them and listen to them throw a fit, great for a laugh.
