claimed to be from federal IRS. accent was oriental. used an address of mine which is unused by the real IRS! threatened to send documents to the courthouse to begin to sue me. after his spiel which he said not to interrupt, he asked what i now wanted him to do. i said send the docs to the courthouse, nice scam, and take my name off his list. wanted money no doubt...

Got a message to call 2409794118 on my voice mail.
Called back from a different number and some one spoke to me saying it is IRS. I could find out that the speaker was from India and I just abused him in Hindi and he hung up.
IRS never calls nor the phone number will be starting with 240.
If you get a phone just abuse them.

recording said I was being sued by IRS

Received a call today (9/22/15) with a recording that said I was being sued by the IRS, and to call 240-979-4118 to speak to a case officer.
I didn't call back. Sounds like a scam.
Caller ID says it came from 360-637-6804.
