This number left an automated voicemail in my cell that this was my final notice that I was being sued by the IRS. I called the number to find out what the heck was going on. A gentleman answered, clearly in the middle of the bullpen of a call center and he spoke to me using weird and unprofessional language. I doubted its legitimacy for the start and said so. I worked for attorneys for 8 years and now I work in law enforcement. I passed an FBI background check about a year ago, one of the highest clearances in my state. If the IRS had a problem with me, I never would have gotten my job. And this guy couldn't even tell me what address they had sent prior notices to "due to technical difficulties." Yeah, right. He told me if I thought it was a prank I was welcome to hang up the phone, so I did.

This was a robocall message claiming to be the IRS giving me final notice that a lawsuit is being filed against me.
