Identified themselves as firefighters assn and wanted money to help burn victims
They said they were with the Federal Government & that I had been selected to receive a grant which they were going to wire me through money gram at walmart. I recorded the whole conversation that I had with the supervisor, who I asked to speak with because I could not understand the foreign accent of the lady that I had on the phone first.
This number called my store asking for manager or owner. I told the caller that our owner was out and there was no manager and she just said a quick thanks and hung up. After trying to call back I recieved a no routes found message
call saying I won a grant from the government then give me this number saying I need to go to western union and send them 250.00 to get this what a scam
The guys name is Alex, he is a start up contractor in South Texas. That's all I got.
