This call came from a local number using the area code 513 in Cincinnati Ohio. If I do not know a #, I do not answer even if it is local. So I received a 38 second long voice mail. I listened and it was a lady who did not identify herself at all by name or her position, however she said she is calling on behalf of "Summit Receivables" and that she is calling as she is looking to communicated with me about a letter that was sent out THAT "MAY CONCERN ME". She said she is giving me a call to give me a chance to respond to the letter and now the phone call all on a "voluntarily basis". She then said that she has to render a decision on this "file" very soon. At the very end of the message she then said that the call has been documented as an attempt to contact me and then she said the whole 2-3 sentence long statement of saying that she is calling in an attempt to collect a debt........so on and so on..Lastly, she left a call back number that was different from the number she called in on. Received a call from this number with a somewhat ominous tone that I needed to sign off on something for a man named Charles, whom I do not know. The message said they had my social security number and all this other crap. I called back and was told my number would be removed. Hopefully it was, otherwise I am reporting to the authorities. No stranger would have my information and it seemed like they were literally just calling a list of people in my area code with the same last name as me and my last name is super common. Waste of their time and mine.
