Call back to the number and you receive this message "You have reached New Partners Teleservices. We take calls on behalf of many political and nonprofit clients and organizations. If you would like to be removed from our calling list please press one now"

Gives you a student loan number that you can reduce your payments on. EVEN though you don't HAVE a student loan.
Scam trying to get info so they can TAKE money by applying in your name.

Didn't pick up the 2 times it called, left an automated message saying it was a "Julie Smith" with the irs. Looked around and found that "Julie" had scamed other people with a different number. Obviously a scam anyway, so DO NOT REPLY TO THIS

Some douchebags spamming about sports betting and trying to get people to go to a short link

I received a phone call from (415) 799-9609 this afternoon (California Area Code), 16 July 2015. I answered the call thinking it might be someone in my military unit for whom I had not saved a phone number. When I answered the phone it was an automated female voice notifying me of an IRS lawsuit of some kind being levied against me, and that I needed to call them back ASAP to prevent further action.
Alarmed by this, I immediately called the same number and was greeted by an Indian or Pakistani sounding male, who identified himself as (first name unknown) Johnson and an investigator with the IRS. He said there was a lawsuit against me and that a Sherrif would be meeting me at my home to arrest me, take me to prison for a sentence of 5 years and 3 years of house arrest. He also stated that all of my properties and assetts would be frozen.
As a "relatively" intelligent person I began to ask logical questions about the lawsuit, upon which Mr. Johnson interrupted me and began to ridicule me. If I didn't know som

Hung up on me. Obviously a machine. When I called back rang once and disconnected.

Received a call from this number on Friday July 10, 2015 at 6:01 PM PST Called back the next day and asked for a name, only to have a female speaking clear English, refusing to give out their name. Seemed as though they didn't want to talk and said bye quickly without any courtesy at all. Seems highly suspicious, avoid this number if you can.
