By now everyone knows about the fake IRS/ arrest warrant scam call but, it was funny to get to hang up on the guy!
A stranger called me up from Facebook and said before we meet up I have to do a background check. But when I went to the site she gave me it ended up being a porn site.
A woman called and said she was from the IRS, that the police was on their way to our home to arrest me because of several delicts including tax evasion etc etc , and that she is there to inform beforehand and check on facts so I am not surprised. IRS doesn't call, especially if the police is on their way to your home I guess :) Being asked for her name and phone number, she gave me an IRS number and said her name was Elyssa Brown, chief investigating officer for the IRS. After I said I informed the police and FBI and they were on their way to get her she stayed calm and spent altogether 30 min with me on the phone. She had an Indian accent. She started insulting me, saying I deserve to be in Iran and Irak where the ISIS is and that I should die there and not be in the USA.
Received a text claiming they wanted me to do some work for them .... they texted at around 9:30 pm! They said they were hearing impaired, but I'm thinking it's just some idiot not from America, who can't spell if their life depended on it.
Got text message at 5:49AM asking to reply to an email address because not allowed text where they were. Messaged: the military base.
