They texted me someone's name that I do not know, their address and a website link (which I, of course, did not click). Very suspicious.

They called me to and didnt leave a message, my phone also said the number is from New York.

Just got a call from this number and it was a recording msg stating that the IRS has filed a law suit against me.

I'm thinking prank cause they keep calling and hanging up .

I received a call this morning from the above number stating that "THIS IS THE IRS AND WEVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH YOU. THERE HAVE BEEN LEGAL ISSUES AGAINST YOUR NAME. YOU NEED TO CALL US BACK SO WE CAN FURTHER INVESTIGATE. DO NOT DISREGARD THIS MESSAGE OR LITIGATION WILL TAKE PLACE AND LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN. What a bunch of morons, Firstly, the IRS doesnt contact through the phone...so citizens, please be aware!!! Secondly, the IRS does not make threats in such a manner or make any threats, period!!!
