Calling threatening to serve me papers. Called relatives and everything. Used a lawyers name and I have contacted that lawyer directly.
has anyone else received a call from this #. they called, lft a message saying that i owed a loan company and if i did not call them back they are going to press charges for check fraud, i called back spoke w/a rude lady name of Laura. at first she could not find my name or "file", when i asked her for the name of the company i supposedly owe money to she rudely replied: " i was not with you when you took out the loan, how would i know. I asked her the name of the company she was calling from and said, scs, when i tried to ask her what those initials were she hung up on me. each time they call they say that i have only 24 to 72 hours or a law suit will be filled against me. this has been going on since last week. any suggestions. concerned, please reply if have had calls from this #
This number is for a landline, but I received a text from them in response to my Craigslist barter ad. They wanted me to view an image on a website (those can be viruses) and did not refer to the content of my ad at all, so it seemed like a scam.
offered a car for sale on craigslist at lower than average. wanted a deposit sent by wal-mart cash card. was claiming to be selling dads car from out of town. claimed to be living in sacramento, ca. but 213 is in L.A. would not show car or answer details. Scam deal.Car does not exist.
Told me I was going to go to jail if I didn't pay a student loan I got when I never got a loan.
