Person stopped talking. Said they're calling from social security dept and asked if I received a letter. Then stopped talking. Hung up. Called back and was silent. Did not say a word.
I thought this was interesting. Number appeared LAPD office telephone on Dragnet TV series episode 'The Big Ammeter'. It is a LAPD telephone number.
An unsolicited call from this downtown Los Angeles number arrived today while I was away. When I returned the call, there was a recorded message: "The number you dialed is not a working number. Please check the number and dial again."
The number may have been used in the past for federal jury notification, but apparently is no longer used for that purpose.
Answered call, no response, said Hello, no response - few seconds later - Can you hear me now? I hung up - I think there was a scam out there about saying yes to that question
Number listed has called multiple times with a prerecorded message informing me about my child's dental plan. I have no kids in my household and I proceeded to hangup mid-message.

This number was used on a Columbo show first aired 12-15-1991. It was supposedly the business number for Frederick Brower Photography with an address listed as 10903 Villa Amigo. No city given but apparently, Los Angeles.
Female,name:Shondra,Impolite and I'll-mannered, would not give information concerning why she's calling. If you call me I asked the questions until I am satisfied who I'm speaking to then and only then will I give any information about who I am!! If caller has no ill intentions they will emit who they are and why they are calling.
It's a robot calling about a time share.
