This was my number for the last maybe 10 years
in March I started receiving calls from people all over the USA claiming I called them and they were returning my call. I have had to change my phone number to end this nightmare.
synthetic voice saying the Grand Jury in DC had to talk with me....serious consequences if I failed to respond....
They said it was from the Federal Bank and wanted my bank information to give me $9,700 which I don't have to pay back . They want it my routing number and account number they also wanted my online banking passcode when I call the number back it sounded legit kinda but still curious or are they legit
They left a message on the machine that they were from the IRS and that we were being sued by the IRS and I needed to call 2028883102.
A woman calls says she is a 3rd party verifier but can't say who she works for she says she calls to verify if my number is still good and calls family members asking about me. But refused to tell me who she is I'm giving her number to FTC I told her never to call my number again if I can't know who she is or who she works for all I know she could be a criminal looking to steal information.
I suppose to receive money to western union today. It cost me 1200 out my pocket. Okay they gave me the wrong tracking number is needed to know something asap
Said that I received a grant of $7000 and started explaining about it by asking me if I was wondering about the grant and why me.
Continued calls from this number- last 2 weeks. Call back indicates line is no longer in services.
They called and said I was being sued for something from the IRS. Call the number they left and for told to "f*ck off".
