getting email that states system has a virus. message indicates to call 866.453.2895

No tone, hangs up after a few seconds or me responding. It has called twice in two days.

Received call saying we had an outstanding bill. Paid it. Now they are calling us again

Did not answer this call but returned call later to recording of Welcome to the National Rifle Assoiciation...

I DID NOT ANSWER. THEY DID NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE. I GOOGLED AND FOUND NOTHING LISTED. I NEVER ANSWER UNKNOWN PHONE NUMBERS. AND DEFINETLY DO NOT CALL BACK WITHOUT A MESSAGE LEFT.

This was an automated message stating they are from "CVS Caremark with important information about your account."
First, they ask (for verification purposes) your full date of birth including month, day, and year, then they say that that that information does not match their records and then the ask you to enter in your full zip code.
At that point I became suspicious that this was some kind of identity theft phishing scam, so I hung-up and called CVS Caremark directly and ask about this number. CVS Caremark said that they did not call me and there is nothing wrong with my account.
This is an identity theft phishing scam. Do not answer at all costs.

Robocall from "Barclaycard fraud department" left voicemail saying a hold had been placed on the card due to suspicious activity. When I called back to check all the message asks for is your credit card number. Since I had no Barclay account I could not get through to anyone. No operator assistance. Don't enter any card number!!!!

Robocall from "Barclaycard fraud department" left voicemail saying a hold had been placed on the card due to suspicious activity. Asks for cardholder to stay on the line to verify activity or call them back at the same number. Calling back you get a "not in service" message.
This number seems to be a proxy of some sort; they're trying to directly reach people willing to enter card numbers because they are caught off guard and surprised/concerned.
Beware!!! ALWAYS call your card's customer service number (listed on your statements) first if you get something like this!!! Even if it is them, they will never fault you for verifying via their main number! KEEP CALM AND VERIFY. :)
