These jerks keep calling asking for someone that I have never heard of. I have repeatedly told them they have the wrong number. They are still calling
855-253-4242 called me on November 22, 2016, and asked for my social security number and date of birth to "verify my identity" at the start. When I stated that I wouldn't tell him anything until I knew what the phone call was about, he repeated that he couldn't tell me anything unless I verified my personal information. I hung up.
This was a good number. They were working with Good Samaritan Colorado to collect a bill. I called Good Samaritan directly and they confirmed this is a team set up to my account to collect payment.
They said they were TWC/ Spectrum. They also said I had a TWC appt tomorrow. I do not. I even called my husband to make sure he did not call them. He did not call them either. So it is a scam.
I didn't answer this call or 6 others from 855 numbers. I block all of them but it doesn't do any good because when I google each number, the comments are all the same "the caller is NRA - not the National Rifle Assoc. but the National Recovery Associates". They are debt collectors and have called using at least 10 different phone numbers.
These guys keep on calling me that I have virus on my Laptop. This is a scam. They want my credit card number so that they can charge $699.99 for lifetime services. Not true its a scam
This number is a scam and a fraud. contact your bank, shut down your card before they steal anymore of your money.
