Recording stating IRS is suing me!

This number has called several times today and is a recording stating it is the IRS filing a lawsuit against me! I'm sure it's a scam

called # back, not in service??
how did they call me then??

It was a missed call and I want to know who's number this is.

Claims he is from the federal grants dept. and that he is an employee of the federal government. He said his name was "James Smith", how original, and his federal employee ID number is 1107013.

phone scam about irs

Scam stating they are from the IRS and that I owe back taxes. Also states that drivers license suspended, credit cards and bank accounts frozen until back taxes paid. PLEASE!

Automated message, saying it would be removed in 48 hours. Not sure what was going to be removed.

Call from this number, clearly a computer voice, stating I had a serious issue with the IRS and if I didn't clear it up I would be "visited by the local cops." Really poor script. This actually may be on purpose so they weed out anyone with the least clue.
