Received computerized call stating they are from the IRS and have a lawsuit against me. For me to return the call. The IRS does not call you.

they keep calling me at home at work and my cell telling me that legal against me is coming from Florida, they keep giving me a case number. I call them back and I tell them I know they are scammers. How can I stop this from happening?
When answered a machine voice said there was a collect call from *blank*. I accepted the charges of $14.95 because it was a local number and I thought it may have been my boyfriend from jail. When it said the call was connected It automatically hung up. When I call back it just has a constant high pitched beep like a fax machine number.
Caller claimed to be from the IRS. Said IRS was filing lawsuit against me for back taxes. IRS uses mail to contact people. This is some type of scam call.
