866-761-9991 belongs to the Get Wise EDU program with New Mexico Student Loans. This is a non profit organization that is assisting the local colleges and their students by giving information ONLY on deferment, forbearance and other program options. They only want to see student be successful and NEVER ask for payment through the Get Wise EDU program!! If they are calling you and you do not have any student loans just answer or call them back and let them know they have the wrong number and they will remove your number immediately!!

I have received call, and robot (robocall) -claims- it is Kaiser Permanente. Reading between the lines of the various comments it looks like:
1. It might be a separate collections agency for KP. Sounds like -sometimes- it is legit.
2. It might be a robocall that is 'spoofing' the KP collections - very common trick by robocallers to -look- like legit call. Sounds like for any number of individuals this is -not- a legit call: either for someone else, or outdated, or incorrect.
3. From all these comments, you can't tell if the one to you is going to be either 1 or 2.
4. So for me, if you are KP patient, check directly with KP (either online or by calling one of their customer service numbers) - and confirm with KP directly.
5. For me, -don't- call this number because it may or may not be legit or a scam.
• Caller: claims KP
• Call type: Debt collector

I'm guessing this is a reminder call since I forgot to send it back.LOL SnapShot...what a joke that is too ! I think that thing is tottaly rigged ! It would beep when I would barely be touching the brake pedal...& I MEAN BARELY ! I did the snapshot a few years ago and I find it interesting that I got the exact same percentage off this time ! Only 6% ...SERIOUSLY ??? What a waste of time that was ! I think to touch the brake pedal any lighter I'd have to be a five-year-old driving. WHAT A JOKE

Call from Simmons Bank Fraud Prevention. My son purchased three items through PlayStation Network. Simmons was calling to verify, making sure I hadn't been hacked.

I called this number back, and it's a collections call center. When you call them, instead of telling you who they called for, they ask you for YOUR name. I just told them that if they don't know who they called for, Im not giving them my name. They will then proceed to ask you if your name is, "......".

Fake call from a department called "commit line" from BofA in Florida, caller stated they are resolving a customer inquiry. Woman has thick accent, and stumbles on answers.

Bank of America has no department called "Commit Line."

This is a scam.

BEWARE

After doing some research, I discovered that the name of the debt collection agency is Simms Associates. They didn't leave a detailed voicemail message regarding the debt, so I have no idea why they're contacting me. I will send a letter by certified mail asking for more details.

I received a Robo call from Kaiser today asking me to call 1-866-3-Kaiser or 1-866-352-4737. The message said to call the number and provide my medical ID number and date of birth to receive an important message. I was sketched out so I called the number on my card. They couldn't tell me what the call was about or if the number was legit, so they transferred me to someone else. That person said the call was probably legit and couldn't understand why I wouldn't just call it back and give the info. I asked if she would oblige if Visa called her and asked her to call some strange number and put in her card number, date of birth and mother's maiden name in order to retrieve an important message.

Anyway, after going around and around, she was able to confirm that the number was a legitimate Kaiser messaging system. I ended up calling the sketchy number and it was a promo for flu shots. Seriously, why couldn't your initial robo call, have just said, "Hey, come in for a flu shot."? Why do I have to waste 40 minutes
