240 Area code

Received a call today (9/22/15) with a recording that said I was being sued by the IRS, and to call 240-979-4118 to speak to a case officer.
I didn't call back. Sounds like a scam.
Caller ID says it came from 360-637-6804.

Got a call from some woman and she started her sales pitch, I stopped her and told her to take me off the list and do not call again, she said , no I said what and she repeated, no.
I told her what to do and hung up.

Caller with a lot of noise in background and a heavy accent said he was calling from the US Treasury Dept...said I owe appx $1900 in back taxes and he was sending the police to get me because I am trying to run with the money...needless to day I am very upset. I am a disabled Veteran not required to file because my money is Non taxable

Some call from this number leave no message and when I try to call back it said the number is valid as I dial.

Phone Scammer trying to make me download malware.

Who call me

someone called from this number

called cell phone

They offered me a job and said that I was listed as a potential employee

No one respondedicated to help

Just wanted to know who this number belongs to.

So this is actually my phone number, and I never call people. But I've been receiving similar calls from other numbers with the same area code. So obviously something strange is going on.

According to a woman I was trying to get a puppy from its an agency where they want me to pay them money to have the puppy delivered to me?
