While searching independent living facilities, I found one online that might interest me. 240-206-6416 was on top. I, living in Florida, have a 240 number. I was surprised to find that it was NOT the direct number for the ILF I wanted to contact, but an agency that supposedly helps people find one. Tho I subsequently found the number for the ILF, this group has called me almost daily for the past three months, and I cannot get them to stop. They have many people calling, and none of whom is aware that so many others from the same agency are also calling. I'm feeling hacked, harassed, annoyed. Today, "on a recorded line", I gave them a giant piece of my mind and demanded they never call me again.
The number I received this call from is a new number which I just activated yesterday. I didn't share this number with anyone yet and don't plan to because it's solely for me getting online. I was surprised to see this phone number today. I wonder they are looking for the previous owner of my new number ... probably not!
CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES THIS MONTH (AUGUST, 2016). THEN HUNG-UP. I CALLED BACK. THE ANSWERING MACHINE SAID "PRESS #2 TO SPEAK TO AND AGENT". A WOMAN ANSWERED, SAID THAT THIS IS THE "NRA". I TOLD HER THAT SOME PEOPLE WORK AT NIGHT AND GET THEIR REST DURING THE DAY. I THEN CALLED HER EVERY VULGAR NAME I COULD THINK OF. I TOLD HER IF SHE CALLS HERE AGAIN SHE WAS GOING TO RECEIVE THE SAME VULGAR MESSAGE !
