Called me wantin to use paypal to buy my cars says he name is KEVIN.. buy a $54,000 dollar car thru pay PayPal without even seeing the car ? Yea right dude it sounded Sketchy from the start.. glad I see what he's doing now I wasn't gonna fall for it anyway tho

we were trying to sell something Craigslist also, asked for full address and also setting up paypal. do searches people, Do Not fall for this scam.

I have been wondering what this person's catch was. They have kept offering to buy an item that I have listed on Craigslist at the full asking price (it is rather a high dollar item) without any discussion. But I would not give them my information. They contacted me again today so I started digging. Thanks for the heads up!

This person contacted me and said they wanted to purchase an item I was selling on craigslist. They sent me a fraudulent email from PayPal claim in that $10,000 had been credited to my account, but I needed to pay the shipping cost before the payment would be finalized. Very similar scam to what Kevin mentioned above. I did not even need to verify that it was fraudulent with PayPal because it was so obvious. Broken English, email went into junk folder, misspellings in email from PayPal. I forwarded the email address from which the PayPal email was sent to [email protected]

this person tries to scam you using paypal. Says payment has been made, but will only release funds after you send confirmation payment for shipping. Paypal confirmed it was fraudulent.
