Scam by Africans stating they are from Ups and need to deliver 1 million dollar prize
scammer saying he was publishing clearing house and hung up when i called his bluff
I received a call from ???????? he said his name was Mr. John Richman as I really believed him. He said I had won $2,000,000.00 and a car from Wells Fargo for paying my bills on time (No SH??). He said he was the manager and had a team from Sweepstakes Wells Fargo on the way to my house to present the gift in 30 to 40 mins. All I had to do was call 1-8763690076 ext 5 to get a package code and the Info from Routing and checking account to deposit the money before the got here. (right - I am not that dumb). I said when they get here we would go to the bank and deposit the check. He called back and said he was in New York, but the Phone # was from Kingston Jamaica. I told him to give that money to Obama as he needed it more than I. He politely to me to go suck my wife's ????. this is no joke.
They said to be from publisher clearing house and I won a 15000 usd prize and a 5000 gift card to wslmart....I have not participated in any publishers clearing house contests or replied to any of their products or offers.
This number called my mother a few times and they told her she's won arelly big Cash Prizes and asking her to send them $2500 for money order ! its a known scam but my mother made several return calls to then in Jamaica, so she was definitely interested).
I called them back and I got a brief non-identifying recorded message, didn't leave a message myself, and they called back within 15 minutes to tell me I'd won the sweepstakes too!
This are the worst kind of scammers they are looking for week and old people. They can be persistent so the best way is to block this number
