" Well I'm looking for a pet grooming service but with whom am I speaking with" I still can hear the background noise of " hello! How are you doing today" I gave him a false name and he started babbling about some service and I hung up
Suspicious text received with a verification code. No clarification for what the verification code was for. Received at 4:42 am.
Scammer uses this number to text you then gives instructions to enter a two digit number when he calls you. You'll receive a call from 202-455-8888. When you enter the code, you'll immediately get an email from Google stating that your phone number has been claimed by another google voice user. This is a scam to steal your phone number via google voice. Don't fall for this.
They claim to be working with the irs. They say you have a lien on your business and they can help you. The irs never calls you personally. This is a Scam!!
