Safe Caller. He is trying to simply get to the bottom of a collection scam that he has been victimized from. He wants to help consumers.
Man called said he has legal documents to deliver for someone I dont know, said when they are delivered to explain I dont know that person and to show them my ID.
I think Ill show the the end of my Mossburg instead.
Received text message asking who was I, so I responded with asking who they were. Then they texted Happy Holidays. I asked who were they in which they text back.....number was in group message.
Left the following message:
Hi, good afternoon. My name is Amanda. I'm calling from the Geico claims department. I was looking to speak with Brian Liberty in regards to an accident you were involved in on April 19th, and just want to go over the claim with you as well as I have it was here. You were driving a rental vehicle. See if you had a rental agreement that we could upload to the file if you can please give me a call back my phone number directly is 516 714-7300 49 and reference claim number XXX. Thank you, and have a great day.
Associated with Nigerian advance fee email frauds. Don't call or talk to him. He has millions of dollars for you, but first send him fee money. And - strangely enough - doesn't have your name/address/telephone number. But he has millions of dollars to give you!
This is a scam. They said they are a lawyer and were submitting a claim on my behalf.
