Rec'd automated call stating I received a complimentary stay at the Marriott hotel. I think they've called from other numbers too.
Got a call from 5413615916.. told me I won pch.com already iffy on this. Then gave me a code and asked to call another # for verification. So did . 5096424417 . They stated I had won 950,000 and asked me to go to Walmart and get a check for $300 to give to the FedEx guy when he arrives so that I could revive my $. This is a scam as pch does not call or email you. They show up with check in hand and no $ out of your pocket. Beware of both of these numbers.
Message says the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. I got the very same msg this morning from 202-657-6229. I have also gotten them in the past from other phone numbers. DO NOT RESPOND IT IS A SCAM!! So much for the "Do not call" list which all my phones are registered with.
Call from 509-309-8480 reported to be in Spokane, WA. Didn't recognize the caller so let it go to VM where no message was recorded.
Got a missed call from this number saying I had called him and them his "mother" called not long after saying a lady with my name was in hospice care and it was her friend and she was hoping to get ahold of her and so on. Concerned it's possible a phishing scam?
Got 2 phone calls one a guy saying he missed a call from my number then seconds later a lady saying my number was on her sons phone and she had a friend with my same first name in hospice care and we chatted, concerned if it was phishing. She got my age and where I work.
called and stated we owed on a payday loan from 09, had a previous address and last 4 of ssn, problem, no loan taken in 09 and the address given we moved into AFTER 09. I believe it was fraud and did not give any info, was threatened with garnishment
