Missed a call from this number, no message left and when I tried to call back I got a recording that it was not a working number.
Called me trying to sell a vacation package for less that 1/3rd the price. Very suspicous, wouldnt answer questions as to who they were, company name or how they got my number. I asked for them to hold a minute so I could get my wallet and put my phone on mute so I could listen. Immediately some music was heard in the background that no company calling customers would ever turn on where a customer could hear it and the caller starting talking to someone else in spanish. I could understand enough of the language to know they were talking smack about who they were calling. Left him on hold and walked away, came back 5 minutes later they still on, left again and they finally hung up
A man calling himself tim said that he was calling from portland when the number was clearly a salem number, and he insisted that he was returning a call that he had gotten from this number "15 seconds ago" when my phone has been sitting next to me for an hour.... when i told him that he must be mistaken he rudely insisted that i called him and he demands to know why.
They called early morning 10 times, one right after another. I finally answered the phone with "hello". They said hello, then I said it again. Then in a very poor accent, they said "banker?" I said what? They said "banker?" I said no. I think they were trying to find out if anyone was home to rob me since I do have an answering machine and it was picking up and they were not leaving messages.
Or maybe I'm tired and a little paranoid.
called back 1 day later and number "not in service" which can be faked, of course
Called on Tuesday 12/8/15, not on the line when I answered after two rings. Called the number back, no answer, voicemail says it's "David". Called again two days later, and again not on the line when I answered after the second ring. Doesn't answer when I call back, left a voicemail for "David" to stop calling me.
