Young lady from this number called to sell me a "lead". Would cost $97 (upfront) for the name and contact number of a "serious buyer" who wanted to buy a $260,000 home in a nearby city. Asked her to email me some information. At which time, she became a little irritated with me and hung up. Sounds like a scam.
this person advertises jobs to work from home to do payroll. He asks that you have a computer printer and scan at your home. He then gives you the job to pay you $500 per week for 2 or 3 hours of work (really??) and wants you to download "Teamviewer" on your PC so he can access your computer from his. I knew it was a scan from the beginning but kept playing his game. I asked him for his name and changed it twice. When I asked for his address, he said "you wanna come over". This was all over text messages. This phone belongs to Zayo, and they provide phone and internet services worldwide. When I called Zayo, they weren't too interested in my story. They asked me for the guy's phone number and they said it was a number out of Polson, MT. When I told him I knew he was a scammer, he said if I wanted to scam with him, that I could do a lot of money!! Be alert, this is a dangerous guy.
I believe this is a hijacked number taken from the robo scammer "Rachel - from Credit Services" I was getting calls from them using the exact same number but local to my area. (same number different areacode). When you call either number back, they are not in service. Seems to coincidental that the same number with a different areacode is not them.
I have received numerous calls from this number even after registering a complaint against it on the do outcall registry.
After placing a wedding dress on craigslist, I Received a text from this number. They wanted to know more information about my dress ASAP. Even though I put everything possible on the site. Then when I said I could answer everything in a phone call. I never heard from them again. I am getting sick of these craigslist scammers & their numbers will be going straight on these sites.
strange phone call late at night, I know people from this area so I'm not sure if I might know this person or not. I tried looking it up online but everything costed money.
