She sounded like an African-American. As soon as I answered the phone, she began screaming and making threats of bodily harm.
I hung up and blocked the call.
Every day they keep calling me and leave a voicemail with no indication of who they are
This was a person calling to collect money. When I said he had the wrong number he then tried to sell me cocaine? I thought he was joking but he said he was in my town.
Money Gram refund which I requested by email. Told me to go and pick up my refund from my place of transaction .
I have received no less than 20 calls from a blocked-unknown-private number in the past two days, all of whom claimed to be from "The US Government Grant Department," "Loan Department" and various permutations. I have told them repeatedly to take my number off their list, which results in an immediate hang-up from them and another call from a different representative within 15 minutes.
Today somebody obviously goofed and amid the dozen blocked calls I received two calls from UN-blocked numbers:
404-594-8049 out of Georgia
323-524-0755 out of California
Both claimed to be from the US Government Grant Department.
I told both callers that I was putting them on legal notice to remove my number.
The caller from California copped an attitude and told me to go ahead and press charges!
