called and left no message. i got a call first from another 347 phone no., then a minute later, recieved a call from this one.
Received a call by what sounded like a male robo call claiming to be an irs agent. Stated the call was regarding an irs issued arrest warrant. Beware. This is a scam. This call comes after you get an initial call claiming it's your "final notice' and that the irs is filing a lawsuit against you.
Don't fall for it or give any info, call the irs directly and report this.
Sent cashier check $1998 by registered mail check looks real but I didn't know why I received this check. So I called Washington Federal Invested here bank to be told check was fake. After being told that it was fake caller then texted me the whole day to try as the banker told me, he wants you to send him some money from said $1998.. He also then said I've been doing this for 15 years, I'll find another sucker. Now ain't that a shame
Calls and calls multiple times a day and although you hear voices in the background, they never say anything.
Caller claimed he was with the IRS and threatened to have me arrested if I didn't call back immediately for a case brought against me. There's no possible way that could be, HIGHLY suspicious of fraud.
Said she was with Allied Medical Waste, asked for the manager, as we're a staffing company, it was suspicious. Asked what this was in reference too, she started with "hello, hello, you're breaking up" . Could hear a call center in the background. Not sure what the deal is, but it's a guess it's not legitimate.
leave a voicemail saying from Federal IRS investigation. If I don't call back in a couple hours, I will be arrested.
scam caller asking to update address and phone number for Harris county/ clearly not a harris county phone number.
