Call from this number, claims to be from Lowes Delivery, Billings MT. Contacted as we had not ordered anything from Lowes, the guy said his name was Shawn (terrible accent), he also had my full name and address and gave a phony invoice #. Called Lowe's and no record of this person working for them nor that invoice or a purchase made by me. BEWARE. Called police.
ID said USAA Insurance. Was recorded message. Woman identified as Elizabeth saying we spent time at resort and wanted to offer a free stay at their resort. I hung up as I get this call at least three times a week, all different numbers. Have never done business with this org.
Call was from a rep. at Progressive Insurance related to recent contact I'd initiated
Scam call about lien on a business from the state of California.
Just verified with the tax board that there are no liens of any sort.
Called number back and received a recording that "The survey you were called for is now finished. SCAMMER
It was a caller for a credit card processing company, Transfirst. They called us as owners of a business credit card through our credit union. Not sure whether they were officially authorized by them, but they were basically selling a financial product. A little bit pushy when we said we didn't really need their service.
Thanks, Republican Senators who voted to sell our internet history! Since then- about a week - my home phone has been ringing all day with ROBOCALLERS and SCAMMERS!
303 500-1594 Hudson, CO Calls several times a day. If I pick up and say hello, it hangs up without a word. If I let the machine pick up, it never leaves a message. I called the number and it won't ring. Just silence.
We've been on the Federal and Local Do Not Call Lists for many years. Cynthia Coffman, I know you're super-busy with more important things than protecting the public, but maybe when you get done doing your Republican party stuff, you and your office might find a minute to STOP THIS ROBOCALLER!
