BEWARE! Scammer! They will tell you that they're calling from your utility company (for me it was Washington Gas) and tell you the you magically qualified for some mysterious monthly discounts because you used XYZ utility. Then they'll say that before they could apply this discount to your account they would need to verify your account information. They'll want you to give them your account number, addresses, etc. Do NOT give out your information. If they were really from your company they would know this info already NOT ask you for it.
The scam here is that this is how the get your info then they turn around and sell it by signing you up for a different utility company that would be more expensive. You would be stuck in that contract while they profit off the sale. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
I need to know the name of the person the phone number is contacted to and location of phone number. Thank you!
