My wife got a call from a # that has been calling her multiple times a day for many days . Upset that they are "harassing" her, I answered the call and listened to what they had to say .
They told me that her name was randomly selected by the United States Grant Department to receive a once in a lifetime grant that is non-taxable amount of $7,849 that did not need to be paid back. Here's the catch, they requested that in order to activate the order we had to pay an immediate one time fee of $249 and the MoneyGram was going to be sent.
The phone numbers that we received the calls from are (203)655-4348 and (215)415-1423. The name of one of the person's is Carla Jones.
Please share so others don't fall for this!
Numerous (every day) call despite my vehement suggestion where they can put their "credit solutions." Obvious phishing scam. Calls despite my direction to put me on their "do not call list."

I usually reject international calls, mainly because I'm not expecting long distance conversations. And I rejected this one too.
This person is stealing MLS listings and then posting them for rent. He doesn't own any of these places and he is trying to get information about finances and personal information. He contacts you off of CRAIGSLIST. Please beware!
